NEW DELHI: An explosion was reported near the embassy of Israel in Delhi on Friday, police said. Also, the blast took place at APJ Abdul Kalam Road near the Israel embassy, officials of Delhi Police confirmed.

No injuries reported:

A minor blast has been reported in the national capital at around 5.15 pm this evening. Also, no injuries have been reported. The blast took place outside the Israel Embassy located on APJ Abdul Kalam road in the high security zone of the national capital.

The explosion reportedly took place near a pavement and damaged the windscreen of a few cars. Also, Seniors officials of the Delhi Police are at the spot and the area has been cordoned off.

The development comes as the President, Vice President, Prime Minister and the three chiefs of the defence forces were present merely a few kilometres away at the Beating Retreat ceremony.
