New Delhi: Cold wave is increasing in North India. In the coming days also, most states including Delhi, UP, Haryana will not get relief from the cold winds. In the morning, dense fog has been recorded in most of the states of North India, due to which people are facing double wounds. Already the icy winds have disturbed people, on the other hand, due to the fog, people are also having trouble in daily work.

Heavy snowfall in hilly areas:

The minimum temperature is also falling in most states due to cold winds. People are resorting to warm clothes and fire to avoid the cold. States like Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir are experiencing snowfall. Tourists are also reaching here to enjoy heavy snowfall. Due to snowfall in the hilly areas, the cold is increasing in the plains.

Cold Wave in Uttar Pradesh:

Cold wave will continue in UP in the coming days. If we talk about Meerut in UP, then there is a possibility of mercury falling here. According to the bulletin of the Rural Agricultural Service of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University, the day's temperature will be below 20 degrees today. The minimum temperature is expected to be between five and seven degrees.

Today Makar Sankranti is being celebrated all over the country. On Makar Sankranti, fog and cold winds are increasing in the plains of Uttarakhand. Orange alert has been issued in Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar for the next two days on the cold day wave. Meanwhile, Muzaffarpur in Bihar is also cold. It is also expected to have a minimum temperature between six to eight degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to be 17 to 19 degrees Celsius.
