BIHAR: An artist from Chhapra district of Bihar is engraving artwork on sand. Google Boy Katilya Pandit's Guru RK Srivastava has saluted the talent of Sand Artist Ashok. The country's eminent teacher RK Srivastava said that today he had a conversation with Ashok over the phone, the work being done by him is giving new directions to the society. We are proud of Ashok.

Who is Sand Artist Ashok?

Ashok, son of Shri Baban Mahato, resident of Navaji Tola Dharamshala Chhapra Bihar, was fond of art since childhood. RK Srivastava told this during the conversation. Ashok started his career with sign board painting and continued hard work from the same time. He said that there is also a special way to develop painting, which makes painting without brush 'Body print art'.

And his painting has been exhibited in almost all the cities of India. He is also a successful diver, he has saved more than four hundred people by drowning in water. They are trained divers. He is a sand artist, used to play sand from his childhood and learned the nuances of art from his mentor Mehdi Shaw Ji in Chappra itself.

All Rounder Ashok Kumar:

Born in a poor family, Sand Artist Ashok Kumar is from the small town of Chhapra in Bihar. Proficient in sand art as well as painting and diving. Create the very best images through colors. He also runs coaching institutes called 'Kala Row' to teach painting to children. Pankaj and Pawan, his two students, consider this to be his right and left hand. Every year, they also help their students to organize painting exhibitions.

Apart from this, we give some time every day to social service too.

During the lockdown, Ashok created many sand art. Through his art, he gave a message to people to stay safe at home. Through his sand art, he appealed to people to wash their hands continuously and wear masks.

Made a map of India and requested people to follow the lockdown rules and let them live in their homes. He also created a sand art to corona warriors such as doctors, nurses, police, scavengers as real heroes, to salute and encourage them.

The picture of Sonu Sood, who is seen as a villain on the big screen and called a real life hero, was also carved out of the sand. Sonu Sood shared this artwork by Ashok Kumar on his Twitter account, thanking Sand Artist Ashok and also praised the artwork.

Ashok Kumar also made a portrait of Sushant Singh Rajput through sand art. Which many actors and politicians shared on social media and demanded justice for Sushant Singh.

Nana Patekar praised this art of Ashok and tweeted in relation to CBI investigation in Sushant Singh case. Journalist Arnav Goswami also tweeted this sand art.

Pregnant Elephant was killed in Mallapuram, Kerala. Chappra Sand Artist Ashok has created a sand art, calling it a betrayal. A pregnant elephant found in the human population in search of food was given a pineapple filled with firecrackers (Explosives Pineapple) by some people. The pineapple burst in Elephant's mouth and she died. The injured elephant was in such pain that for three days she could not eat or drink anything and continued to stand in water.

Apart from this, Ashoka also did sand work on the occasion of World Health Day on 7 April and World Earth Day on 22 April. One of his sand art, which he named 'Betrayal', was also shown on the news channel. Even after the ban on the Chinese app, he had created a sand art called 'Prahar' which Aaj Tak shared on his Twitter account.

He also welcomed the world's deadliest fighter aircraft 'Rafel' by making sand art. He also made very beautiful sand art of Ram temple.

Ashok Kumar said, “Even when everybody in the house used to relax after eating food in afternoon, I used to make sand art. I am happy that I have spent all my lockdown art living. "
