Massive fire breaks out in Covid hospital; 8 patient dead

Ahmedabad: There have been reports of a tragic accident from Ahmedabad in Gujarat. A fire broke out in COVID hospital here. 8 people have died in this accident. This accident happened around 3 am.

Fire breaks out in hospital:

The accident occurred at the Shrey Hospital in Ahmedabad, which was made a COVID hospital. According to the information received, 50 corona patients were admitted in this hospital. After this painful accident, 35 other patients have been shifted to different hospitals.

The ICU of the hospital caught fire and spread slowly. There was chaos in the hospital after the fire. The patients started running here and there. The fire brigade, who arrived on the spot, managed the fire. Initial reports suggest the cause of the fire as a short circuit.

Short circuit in covid hospital:

At present, the cause of the fire and the entire matter have been investigated. According to the information received, the hospital caught fire at 3 o'clock in the late night. The hospital administration is facing allegations of delaying the fire brigade. Forensic department team has arrived on the spot for investigation.

The team of local administration and police department is also present in Shrey Hospital. Some people said that a short circuit occurred in the ICU of the hospital after which the fire broke out, but the forensic team will investigate how the hospital caught fire.
