Panaji: Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation move, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar claimed that many politicians have become beggars after note ban.

Addressing BJP's Vijay Sankalp Rally in Ponda Constituency on Saturday, Parrikar said," Many people had made it their business to loot Goa. After the surgical strike done by PM Modi to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, several politicians have turned beggars.

He further added saying that one of the politicians who suffered heart attack had to clarify that the attack has no relation with demonetisation.
