Maha min Pankaja Munde draws flak for her 'drought selfie'
Mumbai: Pankaja Munde, Maharashtra Rural Development and Water Conservation Minister, also the guardian minister for Latur and Beed regions in the state's Marathwada region, is in a soup for taking selfies during her visit to drought-hit Latur on Sunday.
- She was trolled on twitter after her selfies went viral on social media.
- She visited the most affected district, to view the work at the dry Manjara river in Sia village.
- She was seen clicking selfie.
"Maharashtra is facing severe drought in the state. Women and even kids have to go far away to fetch the water. Even the Shiv Sena is doing lot of work in those drought-hit areas. And in such a serious situation, the ministers are clicking selfies," said Manisha Kayande, Shiv Sena leader.
