Bhopal: Big news of this time is coming from Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh government is going to enact a law on Love Jihad soon. This information was given by the state Home Minister Narottam Mishra.

Narottam Mishra said that soon we will bring a law against Love Jihad in the assembly. It will be a non-bailable offense and the culprits will have a punishment of up to five years.

Law against 'Love Jihad'

He said that in the forthcoming assembly session, the Bill for Religious Freedom Act will be introduced in the Shivraj Sarkar Love Jihad and after the law is made, a case under non-bailable sections will be punished and punished up to 5 years.

Punishment and imprisonment:

He also said that those who help in any way in love jihad will also be punished like the main accused and there will be a provision in the law to punish those who convert for marriage.

He also told that for voluntary conversion to get married, the person concerned will have to apply to the Collector office a month in advance.

It is worth noting that Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also spoken many times in his speeches against Love Jihad. He had made it clear long ago that such a case would be dealt with strictly in Madhya Pradesh. He also spoke of making a law against Love Jihad.
