Lucknow: PM Modi to stay longer than a couple of hours

Lucknow: PM Narendra Modi is all set to arrive in Lucknow within a couple of hours on the special ocassion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's 95th birth anniversay. According to the sources, this time he can stay static in the town for 2 . 5 hours.

On Monday, DM and SSP inspected the path of PM Fleet and requested all of them to make safety arrangements. As per the suggested routine, the plane will arrive at the airport at 2.30 pm today.

Special Protection Group (SPG) officers and personnel have taken over the security in Lok Bhawan.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee will even set the building blocks rock of Medical University in CG City combined with the inauguration of this bronze statue of Atal within the ceremony presented at the PM Lok Bhavan university.

At the Lok Bhawan function, Modi is expected to deliver a 25-minute speech. The function will be attended by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with other ministers and senior officials.

From here, the unique Air Force helicopter will reach the helipad found at Lamart Ground by 3 pm. From here the PM's convoy will reach the Lok Bhavan university.

The venue has been sanitized with the help of a sniffer dog and bomb detectors.

After all of this the PM will travel to Delhi after reaching the airport at 5 pm.
