New Delhi: The Lok Sabha on Thursday was again adjourned till Monday after the opposition parties created uproar inside the house on demonetisation issue.

The BJP leaders stated that the government was ready for discussion but opposition parties were creating unnecessary chaos inside the parliament. Urban Development minister Venkaiah Naidu stated," We have said, we are ready for discussion, do not know why opposition is creating uproar in the house." Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anant Kumar also said that the government was ready to debate over the note ban issue.

While answering over demand for PM's addressal to Lok Sabha, Naidu stated," The PM intervenes whenever it becomes necessary.

The speaker Sumitra Mahajan,tried to settle down the proceeding after the house resumed after being adjourned for 30 minutes and held zero hours in peace. The TDP MLA, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu brought up the issue of the special rights of Telengana stating that there was confusion among the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The opposition MPs in Lok Sabha again started shouting slogans against the government.

It may be recalled that the parliament was adjourned earlier on Thursday for following the noisy scenes created by the opposition members over the same topic. The din in the house continued on Friday too.

What else Naidu said?

  • Those who ruled over the country for 50 years and ruined the situation of the 'aam aadmi' and those who did not let the Parliament function are now also on the same path
  • The Opposition has disappointed us and the country
  • They are not strong, they are not on the side of the truth, the people are not with them.

The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned for thirty minutes following the the fight between the opposition and government over the same issue.
