Lockdown Flight Rules: Guidelines, fare, routes; everything you need to know!

New Delhi: Domestic Airline in the country is going to start from May 25. During this time many types of terms and conditions will be applied, which have to be followed. Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri held a press conference today.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri said that the Vande Bharat Mission was launched for the Indians trapped abroad. So far 20 thousand people have been brought back home. Some countries are not allowing people to return. The Vande Bharat Mission was launched on 5 May. Under the Vande Bharat Mission, we have brought thousands of Indians from abroad to the country.

Mumbai Rains: 11 flights cancelled, 9 diverted due to heavy rain

Flight routes have been classified into 7 –

1. Flight time less than 40 minutes, 2. 40 – 60 minutes, 3. 60 – 90 minutes, 4. 90 – 120 minutes, 5. 120 – 150 minutes, 6. 150 – 180 minutes, 7. 180 – 210 minutes.

All routes within the country fall within these 7,  Civil Aviation Minister informed in press conference.

Min and Max fare has been fixed:

We’ve set a minimum & a maximum fare. In the case of Delhi, Mumbai the minimum fare would be Rs 3500 for a journey between 90-120 minutes, maximum fare would be Rs 10,000. This is operative for 3 months – till one minute to midnight on 24th August said Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri

Air India says 'no' to non-vegetarian meals for domestic flights

 

Here are some rules and regulations for traveling:

All passengers are requested to carry hand sanitizers with them.

Wearing masks and gloves is compulsory during journey and at Air port area.

Passengers have to download Aarogya Setu App in their smartphones.

No meal service will be provided by Air plane authority.

Confirmed web check in is important before entering the air port.

Thermal screening will be done by Air Port authority before document verification.

Old people, pregnant women, someone with health issue and children are requested to not travel if not necessary.
