New Delhi: China again plotted to infiltrate late Monday-Tuesday near LAC in Ladakh. Though the Indian Army thwarted it with its promptness, after 45 years that firing happened at LAC. China opened fire on Indian soldiers. The army also responded by smashing Chinese soldiers. The tension situation at the border remains.

Cabinet meeting in the evening:

Things are tense on LAC. A meeting of the Security Committee of the Union Cabinet has been called for this. This meeting will be held at 6 pm at the Prime Minister's residence. Prior to this, a meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, CDS Bipin Rawat and the chief of the three armies can be held.

Emergency meeting in evening:

Indian Army Chief MM Narwane has informed Defense Minister Rajnath Singh about last night's firing on LAC from Chinese Army. The defense minister has also been told about the situation in Ladakh. It is being said that there may be an emergency meeting this evening, in which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, CDS Bipin Rawat and the heads of the three forces will be present.

Tension at India China Border:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been briefed on the firing by the Chinese Army in LAC and the situation of tension on the border. They were told how Chinese soldiers tried to move forward and fired.

Chinese troops did firing at LAC:

These steps taken by Chinese soldiers at the time when there was a brigade level conversation in Chushul. South Chinese troops of Chushul tried to advance towards the Indian post. A scuffle ensued between the two armies, with China later firing air. The Indian Army also retaliated and fired warning.
