New Delhi: Today is the fourth day of Unlock1 and Govt is making sure that people can survive in this tough time of corona. The number of corona virus patients in India is continuously increasing. Till date, the number of infected people in the country has crossed the 2 lakh 16 thousand mark.
UNLOCK ONE: CORONA UPDATES
The cases of corona infections in the country have been close to two lakh 16 thousand. According to the Health Ministry data, there are now a total of 2,16,919 cases of corona in the country, while 6,075 people have died. At the same time 1,04,107 people were discharged.
-Meghalaya’s tally of COVID-19 cases rises to 33 after 2 more persons who recently returned from other states tested positive for the infection.
-25 fresh COVID-19 cases in UP’s Gautam Buddh Nagar, tally crosses 500-mark.
-Total 42,42,718 samples have been tested till now, of which 1,39,485 samples have been tested in the last 24 hour
-Of the 260 deaths reported since Wednesday morning, 122 were in Maharashtra, 50 in Delhi, 30 in Gujarat, 11 in Tamil Nadu, 10 in West Bengal, seven each in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana, six in Rajasthan, four in Andhra Pradesh and one each in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
-Maharashtra has reported the maximum 2,587 fatalities till date, followed by Gujarat with 1,122 deaths, Madhya Pradesh 371, West Bengal 345, Uttar Pradesh 229, Rajasthan 209, Tamil Nadu 208, Telangana 99 and Andhra Pradesh 68 deaths.
-The death toll has reached 53 in Karnataka, 47 in Punjab, 34 in Jammu and Kashmir, 25 in Bihar, 23 in Haryana, 11 in Kerala, eight in Uttarakhand and seven in Odisha.
-Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Jharkhand have registered five COVID-19 deaths each, Assam has recorded four deaths while Chhattisgarh has reported two deaths so far. Meghalaya and Ladakh have reported one COVID-19 fatality each.
-India reports 9,304 new COVID19 cases & 260 deaths in the last 24 hours. Total number of cases in the country now at 2,16,919 including 1,06,737 active cases, 1,04,107 cured and 6,075 deaths: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
