New Delhi: Today is a historic day for the country. India is going to get its new Parliament House. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the new building of Parliament House in the capital today. Leaders of several political parties, Union ministers and ambassadors of many countries will participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new Parliament House and Bhoomi Pujan celebrations.

Till now the Parliament building in which work was being done was made in the era of British.

The new Parliament House, being built with modern facilities, will be completed by 2022, when India is marking the 75th anniversary of its independence.
