NEW DELHI: Today is the fifth day of Lockdown Phase 2, which started in the wake of preventing from corona virus. The lock-down is scheduled to continue until May 3, meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health, the average number of infected patients has declined.

However, the situation in the country has not improved completely yet. The central and state governments are taking effective steps for efficient operation of lockdown and security of common people.

Lockdown2.0: Current Situation in India

Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in India. The total number of corona patients has increased to 15712 and the death toll is 507. The 325 districts of the country are free from infection.

-Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chairs a meeting of senior government officers to review situation regarding COVID19 in Uttar Pradesh.

- Haridwar & Nanital districts declared 'Red Zone' after the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in the state reaches 42.

-There are a total of 1893 positive cases in Delhi including 186 cases from yesterday.

-2 doctors&6 nurses of Delhi's Lady Hardinge hospital test positive for COVID19. Hospital authorities have quarantined all 8 healthcare staff. Their contact tracing has been started.

-45 new positive cases of COVID19 reported in Agra, taking the total number of positive cases to 241: Agra DM
