Meet the Legion group that hacked Twitter accounts of politicians

New Delhi: The unknown hacker group 'Legion' said that it had no political interest behind hacking the Twitter accounts of Congress, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Kingfisher head honcho Vijay Mallya and TV personalities Barkha Dutt and Ravish Kumar.

In an interview with The Washington Post, one of the members of the group said that former IPL Chief Lalit Modi is their next target.

The group, however, said that those giving a political shape to the accounts hack row should “gas themselves with a balloon filled with Zyklon B.”

Member of the group also informed that Legion was in possession of terabytes of raw data and they had filtered gigabytes worth of data from it.

Meanwhile, Legion revealed that it had access to servers like that of Apollo Hospitals and it was unsure about releasing data from those servers because it might cause “chaos” in India.

Legion has also appealed for public support from India for doing much such cracks in the coming weeks.

The tweet reads, "Support Legion. We will bring you the info needed to bring these criminals to justice. This is just a partial dump. More data will be coming over the course of a few days ;) We are Legion.”
