Former President Pranab Mukherjee has said goodbye to the world. He died on Monday evening. He was 84 years old. Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the Army's Research and Referral Hospital on 10 August.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee has said goodbye to the world. He died on Monday evening. He was 84 years old. Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the Army's Research and Referral Hospital on 10 August. He underwent surgery on the same day. He has two sons and a daughter. Pranab Mukherjee, a longtime Congress leader, was a seven-time MP.

Final Rites in Delhi:

According to the family, the last visit to the former president's body will be from his place of residence. Which can be done at 11, Rajaji Marg, New Delhi today (01/09/2020) from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon. His funeral will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday afternoon at the Lodhi Road crematorium. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at his residence on Rajaji Marg in a short while to pay tribute to former President Pranab Mukherjee. Earlier the entire area has been sanitized.

One week State mourning:

The government has declared state mourning over the demise of the former president. The Home Ministry said that there will be a state mourning in India from August 31 to September 6 in honor of the former President. During this time, the national flag will remain half-tilted on all the buildings across the country where the flag remains. Mr. Mukherjee was the 13th President of the country from 2012 to 2017. Everyone mourned his death.

At the age of 47, he became India's youngest Finance Minister in 1982. He later served as Foreign Minister, Defense Minister and Finance and Commerce Minister. Pranab Mukherjee was the only leader of India who, despite not being the Prime Minister of the country, remained the leader of the Lok Sabha for 8 years.
