Kolahpur's suspicious blast in a truck leaves one dead

Lucknow: On Friday, a suspicious blast took place in a truck in Kolahpur which led to the death of one person and injured the other.

Speaking with the sources Kolhapur SP said, "The truck was stationed on the road and driver was near the truck. The driver of the truck died on the spot."

The truck driver's friend sustained injuries but is out of danger.

According to the police, the driver was handling some explosive substance, which caused the blast.

The BDDS and other squads have reached the spot and have cordoned off the whole area.

Police are trying to find out what was the explosive substance which caused the blast. The driver's friend is also being questioned.

The blast that took place late night on Friday is still a mystery and the senior cops are present on the spot.
