Kisan Samman Nidhi: PM releases over Rs 20,000 Crore as 8th installment for farmers

New Delhi: Amid the Corona crisis, more than nine and a half crore farmers of the country are going to get the eighth installment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. PM Modi released an amount of Rs 19000 crore to 9.5 crore farmers of the country through video conferencing.

On this occasion, PM Modi said that this year so far, about 10 percent more wheat has been purchased at MSP as compared to last year. So far, about 58 thousand crore rupees for the purchase of wheat has reached the account of the farmers directly.
