Key Indian equity indices open lower; NSE trades 0.28% low

Mumbai: The key Indian equity indices on Monday opened lower. The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 71.53 points or 0.21 per cent lower soon after opening.

The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 29.50 points or 0.28 per cent lower at 10,423 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 33,710.15 points, was trading at 33,614.03 points (at 9.16 a.m.), lower 71.53 points or 0.21 per cent from Friday's close at 33,685.56 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 33,710.15 points and a low of 33,588.37 points in the trade so far.
