Kerala girl ends life after being harassed in school

Thiruvananthapuram: A student in Kerala lost her battle of life two days after she jumped from the third floor of the school she was studying in. It has been alleged by the family of the girl that she decided to end her life after being harassed by teachers.

The girl was studying in class 10th.

Accused teachers of the school have been booked by the police under section 305 of the Indian Penal Code for abetment of suicide of a child.

According to the kin, the 15-year-old girl’s uncle had alleged that the teachers did not even allow her to have lunch. He also told that the student was also threatened that she would not be allowed to take the board examination.
