Karnataka gets first mobile Corona Virus testing lab

Bangalore: Corona virus(COVID) cases are increasing rapidly in India. The total number of cases in the country has gone up to 19 lakh 64 and more than 40 thousand people have died. Karnataka's medical education minister Dr. K Sudhakar has inaugurated the state's first mobile COVID-19 testing laboratories, approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

Mobile testing laboratories:

The minister made a tweet after inaugurating the testing laboratories, stating that ICMR-approved mobile laboratories can conduct 400 RT-PCR COVID-19 tests per day, the results of which can be obtained in four hours.

Sudhakar had said that the number of patients cured in the state is more than the number of active cases. According to the data released on Thursday morning by the Union Health Ministry, Karnataka has 73,966 active cases, while 74,679 patients have been cured so far and the disease has caused 2,804 deaths from across the state. As of August 5, approximately 1,532,654 trials were conducted in the state.

Corona Updates in India:

So far, 19 lakh 64 thousand 537 cases of corona have been reported in the country. Out of these, 5 lakh 95 thousand 501 are active cases. At the same time, 13 lakh 28 thousand 337 patients have been cured and 40 thousand 699 people have died.

According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 56 thousand 282 new cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours and 904 people died.

During this, six lakh 64 thousand 949 sample tests were conducted. More than 50 thousand cases of corona are being reported daily since last eight days.
