New Delhi: The ongoing hijab row in Karnataka has now reached the point of murder. It has been learned that a Bajrang Dal worker has been brutally murdered in Shivamogga district of the state.

Bajrang Dal Worker killed in Shivamogga:

The name of the worker who has been put to death is being told as Harsha. Security has been tightened in Shivamogga following the alleged murder of 26-year-old Harsha. Not only this, Section 144 of CrPC has also been implemented in the entire area.

It is an unfortunate incident. Karnataka government is trying its best to keep the situation under control but some groups are provoking people said Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh on 'murder' of a Bajrang Dal activist in Shivamogga.

I've received information on the incident from Shivamogga DC and SP. I've also spoken with the CM & home minister. The situation in Shivamogga is under control; DC & SP instructed to maintain law and order. The accused will be arrested soon said Karnataka minister Dr.Narayana Gowda.
