J&K | Two militants killed, one arrested in Kulgam district

Srinagar: Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed and one was arrested on Monday during an encounter between the security forces and militants in Kulgam District of Jammu and Kashmir.

The militants opened fire at the Army, the Central Reserve Police Force and state police personnel, who retaliated leading to a gunfight in Khudwani area.

"One militant has also been arrested during the operation. Some weapons have also been recovered," police official said.

The identity of the militants is still being established. The police said the encounter has ended.
