J&K: 14 killed, over 15 injured as bus falls into gorge

Srinagar: At least fourteen people were killed and 16 others injured on Saturday when a bus fell into a deep gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

While 11 people lost their lives on spot in Mandi area, three critically injured passengers succumbed to their injuries in a hospital.

Three other seriously injured passengers have been flown to Jammu College Hospital for specialized treatment.

The accident reportedly occurred when the driver lost control over the bus. Senior officials rushed to Mandi to supervise relief and rescue operations
