New Delhi: A horrific road accident has occurred in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. 5 people of the same family died in this accident. Among the dead are 2 women and 1 child. This painful accident happened near Hind Hotel in Govindpur police station area.

Dhanbad Road Accident:

All those killed in the accident died on the spot. According to the information, all the people were going from Ramgarh to Asansol by car. It is said that the speeding Swift DZire car went uncontrollably and fell on the river bank about 100 feet away from the bridge. The local police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported.

According to the information, a car on GT Road (NH-2) in Govindpur fell uncontrollably near the Kauabandh culvert on Tuesday morning. In this accident, 5 people in the car died on the spot. The dead included two men, two women and a child.

5 killed in road accident:

Two of these have been identified. One of the dead is named Wasim Akram and the other's name is Shakeel Akhtar. Both were identified on the basis of Aadhar card. The police have informed the families of those killed in the accident. The deceased are said to be residents of Gatotand, Ramgarh. All were going to Asansol by Swift DZire car (JH-02 AM 0996).

The local police reached the spot as soon as the news of the horrific road accident was received. Police believe that the accident happened due to speeding of the car. The culvert where the accident took place has a sharp curve. Without touching the railing of the culvert, the car jumped and collided with the wall on the other side while crossing the Paladih Jodiya (river). The car got blown up after falling more than 100 meters from the road. Due to this, five people sitting in the car died. The meter of the car is locked at 150 km. In such a situation, it is believed that at the time of the accident, the speed of the car would have been around 150 km.
