Chennai: Chief minister Jayalalithaa who can be released from the hospital any day has attributed her recovery to people of Tamil Nadu who prayed for her.

In a letter from the hospital for the party workers and the people of Tamil Nadu. released on Sunday she said," Due to the continuous prayers by people in Tamil Nadu, in other states and across the world, I have taken rebirth and I am happy to share this information with you".

She also asked the party workers to win the by-elections in four assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Urging voters in Thanjavur, Aravakurichi and Tiruparankundram to vote for her party All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK)' the chief minister said," I am waiting to hear news of an election victory."

Meanwhile, chairman of Apollo Hospital,Dr Prathap C Reddy said," Chief Minister's lung infectionis now fully under control. Her discharge depends upon her.Whenever she feels like she can leave hospital."

It may be recalled that, Amma, was hospitalised on September 22 and was being treated for and dehydration and lung infection.
