New Delhi: An encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in ​​Shopian district of Kashmir today i.e. on Wednesday morning. Firing continues from both sides. The local police and security forces came to know about the presence of terrorists in the area. After this a search operation was launched in the area. During this, the terrorists had a face-off with the security forces.

First of all, the security forces warned the terrorists to surrender. The terrorists ignored this warning and started firing. Firing continues from both sides. Based on preliminary information, it is being told that two to three terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization have been surrounded. At present other details are awaited.

On October 20, two terrorists of terrorist organization TRF were killed by security forces in Shopian district of Kashmir. TRF district commander Adil Ahmed Wani was also involved in this. Let us inform here that Adil was the same terrorist who had killed Sakir Ahmed Wani, a resident of Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh, in Pulwama in October last under Target Killing.
