Jaipur-Agra highway: Vehicles collide due to heavy fog, one dead

At least one person was killed and more than 30 others were injured as almost 50 vehicles rammed into each other on Jaipur-Agra Highway due to heavy fog

Jaipur: In a major accident, at least one person was killed and more than 30 others were severely injured as almost 50 vehicles rammed into each other on Jaipur-Agra Highway due to heavy fog on Sunday.

According to additional commissioner of police, "The injured were immediately taken to the nearby hospital. Five of the injured are in critical condition."

Police have been deployed to the spot to clear the highway.

It may be mentioned that this is the second major accident on the same highway.

Last week, four people have lost their lives and more than six others were injured when a bus carrying American tourists rammed into a tractor.
