New Delhi: Amid the ongoing dispute with China over the LAC in eastern Ladakh, the Modi government at the Center has called an all-party meeting today at 5 pm on Wednesday. This meeting can begin at 5 pm, in which leaders of many political parties will participate.

The meeting is being held after the statement made by the Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Parliament on the situation on LAC.

China issue to be discussed today:

In the Parliament session, the opposition was asked to discuss the entire controversy in detail. The ongoing tension with China will now be discussed in detail in this meeting. This time, the Monsoon Session Question Hour has been canceled, due to which several opposition parties including Congress, TMC have accused the Center that the government wants to run on the issue of China.

Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh spoke in Parliament yesterday on the ongoing tension with China. He said in Parliament that the situation in Ladakh is serious. China is trying to change the current situation on the border.

Giving information about the situation from April till now, he said that we want to resolve the dispute through dialogue, but if the situation does not change then the Indian Army is ready.

Rajnath Singh said that China has gathered a large number of troops and ammunition in the LAC and interior areas as per the present situation.

At the same time, the Defense Minister said that the Indian Army has also made complete preparations. He also said that the deployment of troops in large quantities by China is a violation of the 1993 and 1996 agreements.
