New Delhi: Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases are increasing rapidly in India. So far, more than 18 lakh cases of corona have been reported in the country and more than 38 thousand people have died.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 52 thousand 972 cases have been reported and 771 people have died. During this, three lakh 81 thousand 037 sample tests were also conducted. More than 50 thousand cases of corona have been reported for five consecutive days.

Five lakh 79 thousands active cases:

So far, 18 lakh three thousand 696 cases of corona have been reported in the country. There are five lakh 79 thousand 357 active cases. At the same time, 11 lakh 86 thousand 203 patients were cured and 38 thousand 135 patients have died.

The recovery rate is 65.77 percent and the death rate is 2.11 percent. So far, a total of two crore two lakh two thousand 858 sample tests have been conducted across the country.

Corona Updates in India:

Record 49 COVID-19 fatalities in West Bengal push toll to 1,678; highest single-day spike of 2,739 new cases takes tally in state to 75,516.

There are 10 thousand 356 active cases in Delhi. So far, one lakh 23 thousand 317 patients have been cured and 4,004 people have died. A total of one lakh 37 thousand 677 cases have been reported so far. 92 thousand 921 cases of corona have been reported in Uttar Pradesh.

There are one lakh 48 thousand 843 active cases in Maharashtra. At the same time, 15 thousand 576 people have died. So far, four lakh 41 thousand 228 cases have been reported here. There are 56,998 active cases in Tamil Nadu. At the same time, 4,132 people have died.
