New Delhi: Due to the high speed of corona in the country, the number of patients getting infected has crossed 5 million. In last 11 days the number of patients in the country has increased by one million. It is said to be the fastest rate of infection in the world.

Corona tally crossed 50 lakh mark in India:

According to the latest figures, the number of corona infected patients in the country has increased to 50,05,963. However, it is a matter of relief that India is at the forefront of the world in terms of patients recovering from corona.

Corona infection has been confirmed in 83,809 people in the country during the last 24 hours and with this the number of corona-infected patients in the country reached over 50 lakhs.

1054 deaths in a day:

Five days later, the number of infected in the country was less than 90,000. During the last 24 hours, Due to corona 1054 people died. 17 percent of the world's patients are in India alone and more than that in the US there are 67,64,598 patients.

It is a matter of relief for the country that India is number one in the world in terms of number of patients who won the battle against Corona. Brazil is second and America is third. Out of the people suffering from corona in the country, 38 lakh 59 thousand 399 patients have returned home after getting healthy.

During the last 24 hours, 79,292 patients were discharged from hospital on recovery. At present, the number of active cases in the country is 9,90,061, which is the highest after the US.
