Seoul: The issue of India's entry into the Nuclear Supplier Group (NSG) was raised at the first day of meeting in Seoul on Thursday, according to reports available here.

The issue ‘may be discussed’ again tonight, reports said.

The meeting of Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi with Chinese President Xi Jingpin in Uzbekistan is being monitored closely in view of opposition of China on India’s bid.

Modi and Jingping are to meet on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

Modi may seek China's support as Beijing is strongly opposing India's admission to the group.
