Indian Army soldier goes missing, suspected to have joined Hizbul Mujahideen

Srinagar: An Indian Army jawan on Thursday went missing from north Kashmir's Baramulla district. Soldier named Zahoor Ahmad Thakur is suspected to have joined hands with terror group Hizbul Mujahideen, said police.

He was last seen along with an AK-47 rifle in his camp in Gantmulla area.

"Zahoor belongs to Pulwama district. A search operation has been launched," police sources said.

It may be mentioned here that Hizbul Mujahideen is having some evil plans to commemorate the death anniversary of Burhan Wani. Indian Army had gunned down Wani on July 8 along with two other terrorists in the Kashmir valley.
