Indian Army guns down five Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir

Pulwama: Indian Army on Sunday gunned down two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in Tehab village of Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said, "Two terrorists were killed in an ongoing security operation in Tahab village. Security forces also recovered ammunition."

According to the police sources, the two victims were identified as Irfan Sheikh and Abid.

Meanwhile, massive men hunt is on to know about the presence of any peace-breaking elements in the area.

“We had inputs that these terrorists were threatening government officials and politicians. Based on this input, a search operation was carried out in the morning. The search party reached a house and they were fired upon. They terrorists were given a chance to surrender, instead they fired heavily,” Harbir Singh, Commander 12 RR said.
