Indian Army guns down one terrorist in an encounter in Barmulla

Srinagar: One terrorist has been gunned by Indian Army in an encounter in the Haritar Tarzoo area of North Kashmir’s Barmulla district here on Tuesday.

The search operation is still underway and one more terrorist is believed to be hiding. Several weapons have been recovered from the spot.

“In the wee hours of Tuesday, two unidentified men opened fire at army jawans, following which one terrorist was gunned down in the retaliatory firing,” said security official.
