New Delhi: Corona virus figures in India are now at the top five countries in the world. That is, India is among the top 5 countries in the world in case of corona infection. At the same time, India is also in the top 10 countries in the world in terms of the number of deaths from covid 19. However, the recovery rate of patients has increased and the government is trying to increase the testing.

UNLOCK ONE: CORONA UPDATES

There are now 3 lakh 95 thousand 812 cases of corona in the country. A record 14516 cases of corona have been reported in 24 hours and 375 patients have died. There are one lakh 68 thousand 269 active cases of Corona in the country. So far, 12 thousand 948 patients have died and 2 lakh 4 thousand 710 have been recovered.

Current situation in India:

-66,16,496 samples tested till 19th June. 1,89,869 samples tested in the last 24 hours: Indian Council of Medical Research.

-299 new cases of corona virus in Rajasthan, 14156 people infected so far.

-499 new cases of corona in Telangana, 6,526 people infected corona so far.

-India reports the highest single-day spike of 14516 new COVID19 cases and 375 deaths in last 24 hours.

-One more policeman died of COVID19 in Mumbai yesterday, taking the death toll in Mumbai Police to 31. A total of 2,349 police personnel have contracted the disease in Mumbai.

-Delhi records highest spike with 3,137 fresh corona virus cases taking tally to over 53 thousand; death toll mounts to 2,035.

-Jharkhand reports 41 fresh COVID19 cases, state's tally reaches 1,961; number of active cases stands at 615.
