IMD predicts Snowfall in Himachal, Jammu Kashmir for next three days

There is a possibility of heavy snowfall and rain in Jammu and Kashmir. Snowfall on February 3 to 4 and Himachal Pradesh on February 4.

New Delhi: This week, there is a possibility of rain in many areas of North West, Central and Eastern regions of India due to western disturbances. The Indian Meteorological Department has given this information. An induced cyclonic circulation is moving towards Central Pakistan, adjoining western Rajasthan.

Snowfall in next three days:

Due to this cyclonic circulation, the weather in northwest India and western Himalayan region may affect from tonight. In a statement, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted rains in central and northwest India from February 3 to 5 along with western disturbances and lower southeast areas.

Snowfall prediction in Jammu:

From the night of February 2 to February 5 prediction of strong winds, lightning and rain or snowfall. There is a possibility of heavy snowfall and rain in Jammu and Kashmir. Snowfall on February 3 to 4 and Himachal Pradesh on February 4.

Apart from this, the Indian Meteorological Department informed that thunderstorms and hail accompanied with light rain and lightning predicted in the plains of northwest India on February 3-5. Apart from this, light rain is also expected in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand on February 4 to 5.

RK Gennami, senior scientist at the National Weather Forecasting Center, says that this will be a deep western disturbance, which will affect the weather in many areas from east to northwest India. There is a possibility of rain and lightning thunder in these areas.
