IMD issues rain alert in many states; Gulmarg sees season's first snowfall

New Delhi: The weather has started changing rapidly across the country. On one side the monsoon is going, on the other side the winters are ready for their quilt. In such a situation, due to monsoon rains, almost all the states of the south have been affected. At the same time, the condition of some states was very bad.

Weather changing, winter is coming:

But now once again 5 states of South India, Kerala, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are expected to receive rain on Tuesday. According to information received from the Meteorological Department, the low pressure area is now once again forming in the Bay of Bengal. Due to which the chances of rain in these states have increased.

Rain near Bay of Bengal:

According to the meteorological experts, the next 24 hours may increase the rainfall in some areas of the country. Rainfall will be limited in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala. Also, a new system will be built on the Bay of Bengal. According to experts, the south-west monsoon is expected to conclude its journey in the next 48 hours. It will travel further for the northeast monsoon.

Also, according to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to the northeast monsoon, there may be light rains in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and all parts of Karnataka and Kerala around 28 October.

According to the department, the districts of Karaikal, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Thanjavur, Thiruvurpur and Tiruchirappalli districts may receive rains with strong winds and thunderstorms in the next few hours in Tamil Nadu.

Snow fall in Kashmir:

Gulmarg in the hilly Kashmir and several other high altitude places received significant snowfall on Sunday. After which the temperature in the valley fell. In such a situation, the officials have informed that there was light snow in the evening in Gulmarg, the famous ski resort located in Baramulla district of North Kashmir. He said that snow continued to fall for most of the evening and thereafter it rained. Due to which the cold has increased.
