IMD issues alert in Uttarakhand & Himachal Pradesh; Rain in UP, Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: The weather of the country is constantly changing. Somewhere there is rain and somewhere there is a thunderstorm. The heat-resistant north India is relieved due to the constantly changing weather. At the same time, Delhiites have also got some relief from the heat due to the cold air moving on the previous day. From this morning onwards, the clouds are hiding in Delhi.

Rain alert in Delhi:

Sometimes, the process of strong sunshine and sometimes cloud cover is being recorded in the capital since morning. Thunderstorm with Rain forecast on May 12, 13 and 14 in Delhi. On the other hand, light to moderate rains are expected in many states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana. On the other hand, rain and snowfall are being recorded in the hilly areas.

IMD alert in North East:

According to the report, light to moderate rains with one to two heavy spells and thunder showers may occur over Kerala, coastal Karnataka, parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Odisha and parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light to moderate rains may occur over parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh including Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, parts of Bihar, parts of Jharkhand.

Yellow Alert in Uttarakhand:

A yellow alert has been issued in Uttarakhand till May 13. On the other hand, in Dehradun, it rained heavily and hail fell in many areas. Director of Meteorological Department Bikram Singh said that in the next few days a yellow alert has been issued for rain and hailstorm for other districts including Dehradun. During this, there is a possibility of strong winds.

The report said that there may be rain in the hill districts. Snowfall can also occur in high altitude areas.
