New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has forecast the possibility of torrential rains in many states and regions of the country in the next 24 hours. Along with this, in many areas, Orange has also warned of red alert in many areas.

Please tell that this year many villages have been inundated due to the havoc of strong rains. Many dams and bridges have collapsed, millions of people are troubled by the floods and life is stricken.

Heavy rainfall in many States:

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast that for the next two-three days, the entire country will continue to have rain. Heavy rains may occur in many states. A warning has been issued regarding this.

It was reported that there is a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal near the coast of North Odisha and West Bengal. Due to this, due to the southwest winds, torrential rain is expected in most parts of the country for the next two days.

There has been torrential rains in Delhi, Mumbai and its adjoining areas for the past several days, while this trend will continue for two-three more days. Apart from this, there will be havoc in Uttar Pradesh too.

Rain in parts of northern India including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan is expected for the next two days. Excessive rains are expected in western India including Gujarat, Goa, Konkan and parts of central Maharashtra for the next four-five days.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in eight districts of Madhya Pradesh on the forecast of very heavy rains till Friday morning.
