Hyderabad: No matter Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani has drawn a lot of flak after directing to IITs to teach Sanskrit, the academicians see no disadvantage with it as they believe that studying ancient scriptures and Vedas will help students in their research area.

“Sanskrit offers a better proposition for engineering students and it will help them in their existing study and research areas,” he said.
