'I miss my Friend a lot', PM Modi pays tribute to Arun Jaitley

Today is the first death anniversary of Arun Jaitley, veteran leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who left the world today. On this day, BJP leaders paid tribute to him by remembering him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda and many leaders have tweeted and paid tribute to him.

Let us tell you that today is the death anniversary of Arun Jaitley, former Union Minister and one of the veteran leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party. Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "On this day, last year we lost Shri Arun Jaitley. I miss my friend very much. Arun Ji diligently served India. His intelligence, legal skills and personality were great." PM Narendra Modi also shared a video of Arun Jaitley's prayer meeting.

First death anniversary of Arun Jaitley:

On this day Union Home Minister Amit Shah recalled him (Arun Jaitley) saying that he was an outstanding politician, prolific orator and a great human being, who cannot be replaced by anyone in Indian politics. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Arun Jaitley was rich in multifaceted talent and was a friend of friends who will always be remembered for his vast legacy, transformational vision and patriotism.

Significantly, on August 24 last year, Arun Jaitley died in AIIMS, Delhi.

The BJP recalled the former Union minister by tweeting from its official Twitter handle. BJP tweeted, ‘Hearty tribute to distinguished scholar, director, lawyer, administrator and former Union Minister, Padma Vibhushan Shri Arun Jaitley on his first death anniversary. His legacy of superb knowledge and exemplary contributions to diverse fields will inspire future generations. '
