Hyderabad: A body of intermediate student was found on the outskirts of the city. Police said that she was murdered by her boyfriend.

The accused was immediately arrested after the decomposed body of 17-year-old Chandni Jain was found on the hillocks near Aminpur at Madinaguda. Chandni's boyfriend himself confessed his crime.

According to the police, "As soon as the locals saw the body, they immediately informed us. Chandi was missing since Saturday and we had also registered a case of kidnapping."

The case was solved after scanning CCTV footage, which showed the girl along with a youth getting down from an auto-rickshaw and walking towards the bushes.

  • The accused was later identified as Sai Kiran.
  • He was victim's classmate from class 6 to class 10.
  • Interestingly, Sai Kiran had also visited Jain's house on Tuesday to console her family members.

According to Sai Kiran:

  • We were in love for last two years but I was trying to avoid her (Chandni) for the last few months.
  • The girl apparently was pressurising him to continue the relationship and marry her, so he decided to get rid of her.
