Home Minister felicitates Aparna Kumar for scaling Everest

New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh, On Monday, felicitated IPS officer Aparna Kumar, Suhail Sharma and Rafiq Shaikh for scaling Mount Eversest.

Highlights:

• Uttar Pradesh IPS officer Aparna Kumar, had scaled world’s highest peak Mount Everest, on May 21, at 1103 hours.
• Aparna is a 2002 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and she is presently posted as Deputy Inspector General in telecom department of UP Police.
• Aparna had also been awarded the Rani Lakshmibai Gallantry Award.
