New Delhi: A major accident has occurred due to the falling of rocks near the forest on National Highway-5 at Nigulseri in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. In this accident, there is information about HRTC bus. The HRTC bus got buried in the debris due to falling rocks (landsliding).

As soon as the information was received, the team of administration and police arrived at the spot. This bus is on the Moorang-Haridwar route in Kinnaur district. At the same time, many vehicles were buried under the debris due to falling rocks.

Landslide in Himachal Pradesh:

"We have directed police and local administration to carry out rescue operations. NDRF has also been put on alert. We have received information that one bus and a car could have been hit; awaiting detailed information," Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur.

ITBP shared tweet:

"A landslide reported on Reckong Peo- Shimla Highway in Kinnaur District in Himachal Pradesh today at around 12.45 Hrs. One truck, a HRTC Bus and few vehicles reported came under the rubble. Many people reported trapped. ITBP teams rushed for rescue," ITBP tweeed.

The bus is not visible far from the road. At the same time, 80 people are feared trapped under the debris.

Few days ago, Nine tourists were killed and three others injured on Sunday afternoon (July 25) after heavy boulders, set loose by a massive landslide, fell on their van near Basteri village in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
