Hijab Row: The Karnataka High Court has dismissed all the petitions regarding the Hijab controversy. The court dismissed various petitions challenging the ban on hijab in educational institutions. The court said that wearing the hijab is not a mandatory religious practice of Islam. Let us inform that a bench headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi of Karnataka High Court had reserved its decision on this.

The bench also includes Justice Krishna S Dixit and Justice Khazi Jayabunnisa Mohiuddin. The Karnataka High Court, while giving a decisive verdict on the Hijab controversy that has spread to most parts of the country starting from Karnataka, has upheld the ban on Hijab. In his decision, the Chief Justice said that hijab is not a mandatory part of religion and due to this the ban on wearing hijab in educational institutions will continue.

Hijab Controversy:

Let us tell you that a college in Udpi, Karnataka had banned the entry of girl students wearing hijab, after which the girl students protested against the rules of the college saying that the hijab is part of their faith and in view of this these girl students On February 9, a petition was filed in the Karnataka High Court, through which girl students had sought permission to wear hijab in educational institutions. Hearing in the matter today, a three-member division bench of the Karnataka High Court has dismissed the petition filed.
