Helicopter crashes at Aarey colony in Mumbai, two dead

At least two people were killed and four other injured when the helicopter Robinson R44 crashed in Aarey Colony in Mumbai on Sunday. The incident took place at around 1230 hours.

Mumbai: At least two people were killed and four other injured when the helicopter Robinson R44 crashed at Aarey Colony in Mumbai on Sunday. The incident took place at around 1230 hours.

According to the officials:

  • The helicopter was carrying six people including two crew members.
  • The helicopter was taken off from the Juhu airport for a joy ride.
  • Helicopter crashed and caught fire in the Aarey Colony in Goregaon.
  • Pilot and a passenger succumbed to their injuries.
  • The injured were taken to the seven hills hospital.
  • Fire tenders and police officers were immediately rushed to the spot.
