Freedom of expression does not give right to go anti-national

New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday said freedom of expression does not give rights to call for the destruction of a country.

The statement on the union minister has come during the time when the nation has witnessed a debate over nationalism after the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) issue.

“Freedom of expression and nationalism do necessarily co-exist,” said Jaitley in a press conference on Sunday.
