New Delhi: Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's health condition worsened on Monday morning. According to the doctors looking after him, the condition of the former chief minister remains very critical. Corona-infected 84-year-old Congress leader is taking treatment at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital.
Tarun Gogoi health updates:
Gohti Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Superintendent Abhijit Sarma said that senior Congress leaders who have passed the age of 80 are undergoing treatment due to complications related to the corona virus. A team of nine doctors is taking care of him.

He told reporters, "Sir's (Gogoi) current health condition is very critical and doctors are trying better". Assam Health Minister Hemant Viswa Sarma, along with Tarun Gogoi's son Gaurav, are also present at GMCH.
Situation critical:
Please tell that Gogoi is on ventilator and many of his organs have stopped working. He underwent dialysis on Sunday which lasted for six hours. Their blood pressure is fluctuating and they are breathing completely with the help of machines.
Gogoi, who was the three-time Chief Minister of Assam, admitted to GMCH on November 2. He was put on ventilator on Saturday night when his condition worsened. Gogoi was found infected with the Corona virus on 25 October.
