Fire breaks out in Dwarka hotel of New Delhi, MS Dhoni and team evacuated

New Delhi: Jharkhand cricket team captain MS Dhoni and his teammates were safely evacuated when a massive fire broke out at the Welcome Hotel in Dwarka in New Delhi. Though, no casualties were reported.

The incident took place in the early morning on Friday when the former Indian Cricket Team captain and his Jharkhand teammates were present in the hotel. According to the reports, as soon as the incident took place the call was made to the Delhi Fire Service following which as many as 30 fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot.

It may be mentioned that the cricketers were present in the national capital to play the semi-final match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy which has reportedly been postponed to March 18.

The cause of fire is yet not ascertained.
